First, Can you introduce yourself and the We Buy project?
Isha: Okay. My name is Isha and I am BD for WEBUY platform. It’s truly an honor to meet all of you today.
I have been in the blockchain field for the last four years and since then I was involved in several blockchain projects that handled Defi, NFT, and Layer 2.
Among all of them, I was very fascinated by how NFT is changing the blockchain scene and that’s why I joined Webuy. I believe as the NFT market grows, the fractionization will shine.
WeBuy platform provides Fractionization, DaoBuy, Staking, LP Farming, and Governance functions. A total of five functions are important elements that make up the flawless WeBuy ecosystem, and each of them provides an unprecedented service to users through interaction.
We intend to provide additional rewards using non-fungible assets by providing the NFTFi function that combines NFT + Defi beyond simple NFT ownership.

I want to ask more specifically about What services does the We Buy platform provide?
Isha: WeBuy platform provides Fractionization in the first phase of the development. The basic principle of Fractionization is a structure in which the NFT owned by the owner is deposited in the Vault created in the platform and customized tokens are issued using the deposited NFT as collateral.
The tokens issued in this way become the shares of NFT, and buyers can then sell their tokens through the Trade or Reserve Sale function.
Cherry: Who are some of We Buy’s business partners/customers?
Isha: Fractionization makes it possible for multiple people to jointly own a single NFT, and since high profile NFTs can cost millions of dollars, joint purchases through fractionization not only make it easier to own expensive NFTs, but also it has the effect of providing liquidity to the NFT market. Thus our customers are those who wish to purchase a fraction of high profile NFTs.

What is the development roadmap of the We Buy project at present and in the future?
Isha: We are preparing the v1.0 Beta Release in coming month which will involve fractionization function. From then, the next development phase will include Staking to earn, LP Farming, and Governance integration. Of course we are also planning various marketing events as well as the listing.

Trust and security are very important in any business, what makes investors, customers and users feel secure when working with your project?
Isha: Yes. Security is one of the most important issues we consider. So, the contract of the platform we are developing is going to be audited by an audit company before launch.
In addition, since more than 90% of the actual platform is on-chain, all functions executed within the platform are recorded on-chain in real time to solve the abusing problem.

Pardon87: How do I own fractionalized NFTs?

VIE589: I’d like to know the procedure to purchase NFTs from Webuy
Isha: Owners can deposit NFTs on the platform in Webuy and set token symbols, quantities and initial prices. While the ownership is fractionalized, fractional can be bid 1% higher than the initial price before liquidity is provided. After the bidding is completed, the winner may claim and own NFT ownership. Please check our Gitbook for more details.
Sofm768: Can I make a suggestion to buy NFTs that I want?
Isha: The ‘Suggestion’ feature has not yet been added on the ongoing platform. For your information, we are planning to add this feature to v2.0 on the roadmap.
Hwe: Is there any other marketplaces?
Isha: We are currently developing the Webuy platform and it will be introduced to you soon. Adding various functions such as yield farming, DAO and governance along with the existing fractional services, and if there is any change, we will notify you through the community.
Vhsk123: Can I sell the NFT that I bought separately?
Isha: Yes, fractional can be traded on Dex. Also, if you sell a complete NFT at a higher price than the pre-fractional price, you can share the profits. You can check this in detail by checking our official white paper.
