I’m Cherry, presenter and translator of today’s AMA. Welcome to Town Ventures. I hope we have a great time tonight

First,Can you introduce yourself as well as the Kalmar project?
Mark-viils: I’m Mark, former mathematician. Early crypto days work was heavily focused on ZkSnarks/0knowledge implementation models on chain.
After certain exploits in communities as ZCoin, it became clear to me that crypto community is too naive when it comex to complex tasks.
Switched to DeFi, after critical understanding was gained, started KALM — a platform where the token is carefully integrated in numerous key DeFi protocols. We build these protocols ever since last year’s PancakeSwap IFO.
Together with my friend — @MrKalmari
He has same background.

So, what services does Kalmar provide to users?
Mark-viils: @MrKalmari will answer this one
MrKalmari: With the recent update we provide plenty of core DeFi services. We consistently had the highest lending and stablecoin farming %s through year 1.
Now, we have released the aggregator — the swaps rate beat any individual top AMM like PancakeSwap or TraderJoe, thanks to hybrid model, especially good for stableswaps.
One more perk is bonds — a community liquidity acquisition tool. The previous bonding strategies as OHM were reviewed to avoid any excessive volatility; our bonds been sold out for every day since the launch.
All traditional perks as staking, LPs, burns, and even NFT fundraisers/collections are there as well.

Can you briefly describe the project’s partner system in the past time and the partner system to be arranged in the future?
MrKalmari: Sure thing.
We started our journey on PancakeSwap and a lot of people from there can be met in our community, it’s a big part of our history and community contributors.
Our backers include companies as Gate.io and 3Commas, that is the quality standard we are aiming for in our partnership network.
However, KALM is slowly transitioning into the people-ruled platform where our core team delivers essential tasks. We believe in people benefiting from our treasury, so we prepare grants, bounties, and other incentives for contributors.
As much as big names are always expected, we think that what we build should be eventually owned by people rather than VCs or large centralized players.
Cherry: If that’s the case then What makes the Kalmar project stand out from other projects in the same direction at the moment?
MrKalmari: Sustainable and thoughtful token integration, slow deflation rates, security standards (audits before product releases).

MrKalmari: We are idea driven. You won’t ever see copypaste UIs on our platform. We take DeFi or NFT product, see if it makes sense to be in the market for a long term, and start reworking it from the grounds to integrate in our ecosystem.

What does Kalmar plan to do to attract more users in the near future?
MrKalmari: We have a large airdrop starting next few days; but we always have some events going on in regards of product or token use.
Now, once the core of the system has been completed, we are able to start the series of AMAs like this one, which we will keep up for quite a while.
How was this AMA set up? We just trusted one of our amazing team members @caubechango to set it up, and here we are.
Why it matters? We now have ~30 team members, with all sorts of connections and value propositions.
Our next AMA is going to be in AVAX community, and it as well was brought to us by our team member.
There is no line between core and community, and that’s the bet we are making on many fronts, including growing DAU.

Broderick12: Do you allow suggestions and feedback from the community? Are we allowed in decision making, do you put community into consideration ?
Mark-viils: yes
we currently try to find the best balance between core contributors and the best community members
we now prepare first governance models and plan to eventualy integrate the community in as many areas as possible
Dudleygoff: According to the roadmap, what is your most important next priority?
Mark-viils: more DeFi protocols integrated; connecting them to KALM token
Marilu_hoang_67: Since NFT is popular nowadays, is there a plan for NFT integration?
MrKalmari: Currently we integrated NFTs within our NFT fundraiser program.
We’re currently working on adding utility to those NFTs within our ecosystem (Leveraged yield farming, KalmySwap, etc)
Gertrude_Logue: What is your strongest advantage that you think will make your team leading the market?
MrKalmari: Thinking long-term with longevity and safety in mind, combined with the best community in crypto.
